In the years since the 1969 launch of her company; Gunne Sax; the designer has built a fashion institution and has gained a vast and loyal following by redefining classic elegance and projecting her romantic point of view. Her five formalwear collections; perfume and other fashion-related products are sold in 45 Jessica McClintock designer boutiques as well as through most major department stores and specialty retailers. Jessica McClintock Home-The Romance Collection is inspired by the antiques which grace her home in San Francisco and have been collected from around the world. In concert with Jessica; American Drew designers crafted the collection from cherry veneers; select hardwood solids; marble; metal; simulated wood and metal components and wood products. Jessica McClintock Home- The Romance Collection offers three rich finisher; all lightly distressed to enhance the character and authenticity of the collection. The Olde World finish is a soft; satin fruitwood color. Silver leaf with gold overtones and a dusty wax characterizes the Heirloom finish Antique Gilded Iron is a classic cast iron and aluminum form; with gold overtones. The custom; jewel-like hardware that adorns this collection is crafted from solid brass with an antique gold finish. All carving in this collection are unique because many are carved by master craftsmen.
