The wood used in Uwharrie Chairs requires no additional protection from exposure to weather. This is why it's possible to distress the finish, giving the the appearance of time-worn antiques. As Uwharrie products age naturally, their rustic character will be enhanced. You should expect to see some additional paint loss and some surface cracking; exposed wood will eventually turn dark. But even as nature matures your furniture, the wood and the product will remain structurally sound for years. |

All Uwharrie Chair outdoor furniture is crafted of hand selected domestically harvested pressure treated solid pine lumber. Furniture ordered in the "Natural" finish have no additional finish treatment. Furniture ordered in all other finishes are painted and lightly distressed to simulate an antique weathered appearance. |

| We lost everything due to Hurricane Ike. Finding the right bedroom suite to replace the Kincaid set purchased 25 years ago was going to be difficult, until we found Home Gallery. After much diliberation we decided to "roll the dice" and order the Pulaski Poster Bed, Dresser, Mirror, Nightstand, and 5-Drawer Chest. We were very nervous about the potential for damage during transit. The furniture arrived yesterday, and we were shocked to say the least. The furniture is beautiful, not a dent or scratch could be found. The delivery men assisted in the inspection and were very pleasant and professional. They even placed our box spring and mattress on the bed. You might consider giving your delivery men a token of appreciation.
